Handout MGS Nov 16 Education Resources for Age Friendly Care
Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program education resources are offered by the Minnesota Northstar Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) at the University of Minnesota. They comprise a searchable repository of over 1,000 educational resources on Age-Friendly care. The materials are directed toward an audience which includes educators, health professionals, learners seeking quality material on aging care, education, and research.
Objectives:
- Understand the breadth of resources used for developing content and guidelines for adding materials.
- Explore ways the Age-Friendly Care and Education Collection is currently used, focusing on geriatric education toolkits
- Understand the expanding role of GWEP, as a resource in the older adult community.
