A Broader Framework for Minnesota’s Solos
Solos are individuals who, by choice or circumstance, function without the support historically provided by family. Some have no children or other family or family members who are unwilling or unable to offer support. Many live alone. Nearly all experience some challenges as they endeavor to navigate the services and systems they need to thrive as they age.
This program will shed light on Minnesota’s solo older adults through sharing 2025 research performed in partnership with the Wilder Research Center in addition to her 10 years of work on solos.
During the Q &A section participants will be invited to share their own experiences with solos.
